“It has been previously established that the founder of the international processing company ChronoPay, Pavel Vrublevsky, and his acquaintances, have been posting deliberately false information on the Internet since 2019 with offers of monetary rewards for participating in surveys, as well as for successfully forecasting exchange rates and shares. In addition, they invited in stock trading and other financial transactions, promising significant profits.
Under the pretext of paying for registration on Internet sites or a commission for the required monetary reward, the attackers, through a resource under their control for accepting donations on social networks and streaming services, stole funds from a large circle of people.

With the operational support of the GUEBiPK, GUPE and Directorate “K” of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, more than 30 searches were carried out in homes and office premises in the city of Moscow, Moscow, Vladimir and Voronezh regions. More than 100 units of servers and other computer equipment, over 350 thousand US dollars, 50 thousand euros and other items of evidentiary value were seized. 18 people were questioned as witnesses.
