According to Siluanov. The moment came when it could once again put this issue on the agenda.

During a meeting of the Federal Property Management Agency, Minister of Finance Anton Siluanov said that the Ministry of Finance proposes to again consider the idea of ”great privatization” in Russia, the correspondent of The Moscow Post reports.

In recent years, the Ministry of Finance has repeatedly put forward such initiatives, including them in government summons, but they have not been implemented. The main reason for this was the objection by the relevant departments.

Siluanov also emphasized that the ministry intends to intensify the sale of property entering the treasury, including on the basis of court decisions.

“This issue has already been raised. In 2025, income from the sale of such property in the amount of at least 100 billion rubles is planned,” he said.
