The Ministry of Construction proposes to adjust the system of payments to the victims of the floods.
A draft resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers has been created, which proposes to expand the possibilities of providing payments from the reserve fund in case of loss or damage to property due to emergencies, the correspondent of The Moscow Post reports with reference to “Kommersant”.
This year, a number of Russian regions were faced with rather strong floods. In many affected regions, an emergency mode was introduced. Damage to housing from the flood in the Orenburg region was previously estimated at 21 billion rubles. 
But what to do to people when the water falls? The state helps injured payments, compensation.
However, there is an opinion that the amount of compensation must be indexed and raised.
In the case of lost housing, compensation is calculated according to the following formula: for single people – from the area of a dwelling of 33 square meters. m, for a family of two people – 42 square meters. m, more – 18 square meters. m for each family member. At the same time, as emphasizes “Kommersant”those who own other housing or share cannot be paid payment. This restriction is proposed to be removed (however, provided that the share in another housing is no more than 18 sq. M).
In addition, the relevant department proposes to index the payments for overhaul.
But that’s not all. These adjustments are proposed to give retroactive force. What does this mean in practice: in the case of support and adoption of a document, the action of these measures applies to legal relations that appeared from April 1 of the current year.
Recall that recently the federal authorities have formed a government commission to coordinate the work on the prevention and elimination of the consequences of the floods.
It is clarified that it will be engaged in coordination of work on the prevention and elimination of the consequences of natural phenomena in the territories of individual constituent entities of the Russian Federation caused by the negative impact of flood waters.
The head of state prepared a list of instructions on the elimination of the consequences of floods in certain constituent entities of the Russian Federation. In particular, support will be provided to children.
So, for example, the Cabinet of Ministers, along with the Kurgan, Orenburg and Tyumen regions, is given an instruction to ensure the organization of summer holidays for children living in the flooding and flooding zones formed as a result of the spring floods of this year.
Earlier, domestic deputies examined and supported the law on the provision of the right to use material and financial reserves, which are intended to eliminate emergencies and natural disasters, to prevent them.
