As the Dossier Center found out, in the summer of 2018 Romanovsky participated in the preparation of the murder of journalists Kirill Radchenko, Orkhan Dzhemal and Alexander Rastorguev in the Central African Republic. Journalists went to Africa to investigate the activities of the Wagner PMC.
It was Romanovsky lured them into a trap. He gave reporters his contact non-existent fixer “Martin”. The journalists were killed while they were on their way to meet “Martin” in the city of Bambari. Subsequently Romanovsky lied and got confused about details meeting “Martin”.
The Dossier Center has repeatedly called on the Russian Prosecutor General’s Office to interrogate Romanovsky in the murder case, as well as passed on the results of his investigation to law enforcement officers, however, the investigation did not conduct any checks and the matter was put on hold.
In December 2022 Another Prigozhin employee almost lost his lifehead of the “Russian House” in Bangui (CAR) Dmitry Syty. An anonymous package containing explosives was delivered to his name. After he opened it, an explosion occurred. Well-fed was seriously injured and was hospitalized. He also linked to the murder of journalists. According to the “Dossier” with Syty, employees of the Russian Embassy in the CAR coordinated their responses to requests from relatives dead investigators.
