For monetary compensation, a number of employees of the educational organization allegedly provided certificates to obtain a deferment from partial mobilization.
In connection with the decree of September 24, 2022 on granting a deferment from conscription for military service for mobilization, the university authorities of Synergy introduced additional measures to regulate the work of its employees in order to prevent violations during its implementation. It was these measures that helped reveal the illegal actions of some of their colleagues.
In cooperation with law enforcement agencies, the administration of the educational organization exposed the violators. Now they are being held accountable. Criminal cases have already been initiated, and the university itself provides law enforcement agencies and the Moscow prosecutor’s office with comprehensive assistance and assistance.
According to the rector of Synergy Artem Vasilyev, in connection with the Northern Military District in Ukraine and the ongoing partial mobilization, cases of draft evasion are unacceptable. “To identify and prevent this, control measures must be strengthened in all educational organizations. We have prepared an appeal that will be sent today to the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation and law enforcement agencies in order to establish interaction, timely exchange of information and prevent such cases,” he emphasized.
