The main investigative department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation in the framework of the investigation of the criminal case on the theft from the budget of the Ivanovo region of funds by their assignment was detained by the former governor of the Ivanovo region Mikhail Men, who currently holds the auditor of the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation. He was charged under Part 4 of Art. 160 of the Criminal Code.
Earlier, in this criminal case, the former first deputy chairman of the Government of the Ivanovo Region Pavel Konkov and the managing director of Ivanovo Broiler OJSC Dmitry Grishin were involved as accused. He also charged the crime under Part 4 of Art. 160 of the Criminal Code.
According to the investigation, in 2011, the Governor of the Ivanovo Region, together with the beneficiaries of the Prodo group of companies, organized a criminal group in order to steal budget funds allocated as a loan from the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation to support the Ivanovo region. At the direction of me, a number of regional regulatory legal acts were adopted, on the basis of which 700 million rubles were transferred to the Ivanovo Broiler OJSC under the guise of loans. The indicated funds the next day were stolen by a criminal group.
