The main anti-corruption fighter in customs has been sent to a pre-trial detention center until February 8, 2023.
As a result of the implementation of an action plan to counter unfriendly personnel decisions, the head of the anti-corruption department of the Federal Customs Service of Russia, Dmitry Muryshev, was detained on December 9 at 1:30. The charge was brought against three counts of receiving a bribe on an especially large scale for attempted bribery. The loophole with reclassification for fraud is left to the agreement of the detainee, or there will be a full promotion.
The investigation is working on 11 facts of receiving and attempting to give a bribe in favor of a higher official, for general patronage expressed in assistance in the movement of goods across the customs border.
