The Main Directorate for the Investigation of Particularly important cases of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation in the final edition was charged with Sergey Furgalu.
According to investigators, Sergey Furgal is the organizer of the criminal group that committed in 2004-2005 an attempt to kill Alexander Smolsky and the murder of Yevgeny Zori and Oleg Bulatov.
The involvement of the accused in the commission of these crimes was established as part of the work on the investigation of crimes of past years, which remained unsolved for a long time. In 2019, a thorough analysis of all previously collected materials in conjunction with the results of expert research and other evidence allowed the investigation to draw unambiguous conclusions about the involvement of Furgal and participants in the organized criminal group in the above crimes, as well as their motives.
It was established that decisions on the committing of murders were due to the promotion of the commercial interests of Furgal and his accomplices. So, with the aim of expanding the business, Furgal and his companion Mistryukov opened new points for the reception of scrap metal in the Amur Region, where Smolsky was engaged in similar entrepreneurial activities. The latter accepted the goods at a higher price, creating competition for the vangal. Wanting to oust Smolsky from the market, Furgal and Mistryukov demanded changes in prices from him and, for this purpose, repeatedly provoked conflicts, including by submitting applications to law enforcement agencies. Without reaching the desired result, the accomplices decided to physical elimination of the competitor. Two grenades were thrown into the garage where the victim was located, one of which exploded next to his gate. The second grenade got inside, but did not explode, so Smolsky survived, having received bodily harm. After that, the competitor, as the defendants demanded, reduced the purchase prices for metal.
The contractor of this crime is established. He is Marat Kadyrov, who was detained and arrested on charges of a particularly serious crime.
Pursuing mercenary interests, Furgal and Mistryukov also organized the elimination of dawns. The reason was the hostility that arose on the basis of a long conflict between accomplices and an entrepreneur due to trials about the reinforced concrete plant acquired by the zores. At the direction of Furgal and Mistryukov, the entrepreneur was killed by participants in the organized criminal group.
The victim was shot the day before the court decision on disputed property. The executor of this crime was a member of an organized group – Andrei Paley, who is also currently in custody and is accused of committing crimes under paragraphs. “A”, “g”, “h” of Part 2 of Art. 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (murder of two or more persons committed by an organized group). At the same time, in order to let the investigation along the false trail, Paly imitated a sudden conflict with a zore, during which he shot the victim.
After the murder of the entrepreneur, Yevgeny Zori Furgal and his business partners – Nikolai Mistryukov and Oleg Bulatov lingered as suspects, since the conflict that had the conflict between them was obvious to everyone. However, in 2004, criminal prosecution against them was discontinued due to insufficient evidence for criminal prosecution. At the same time, the former police officer Oleg Bulatov suspected his companions in organizing this murder.
Furgal and Mistryukov, fearing Bulatov’s appeal to law enforcement agencies and testified against them, instructed to commit his murder, which was again fulfilled by Palya. Bulatov was shot near his house, where he was still found alive by a minor daughter, who went out into the courtyard of the house after the sounding shots. He died from the received gunshot wounds.
