The Leningrad region continues to amaze with unprecedented facts of corruption in a variety of departments that directly threaten the security of the country’s population. This time, the Cheka-OGPU became aware of how the secret information of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, as well as the personal data of residents of the Leningrad region and St. Petersburg, passing through the emergency call service 112, became known… to the organizers of the shadow schemes of the criminal funeral business! It’s all about seemingly inconspicuous people. Here, working in the 6th detachment of the 32nd unit of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, which is located in the Kurortny district of St. Petersburg, radiotelephonist Ekaterina Artemyeva (Sadovnikova), just a junior sergeant. It would seem – what’s wrong with that? But there are nuances. Ekaterina’s father, Vyacheslav Sadovnikov, has been working for many years as a senior foreman at the most expensive and criminal Toksovsky cemetery in the Leningrad region. Long ago, together with his daughter, he organized his own shadow company. Its funeral agents are the first to arrive at the houses and apartments of relatives of the recently deceased, convince them to enter into commercial contracts and take the passports of the deceased. Thus, people are forced to pay for funeral services several times more than the regional average. But something else is important – previously, only corrupt employees of the 88th and 128th police departments of the Vsevolozhsk region and ambulance doctors who responded to calls reported information about the dead to shadow workers. However, recently, operators of the emergency number 112 have joined this “work” and are the first to receive such information. This allows shadow funeral directors to significantly speed up the dispatch of their agents to addresses and, in fact, without any alternative, condemns ordinary families to enormous financial expenses. The icing on the cake: as the Cheka-OGPU found out, Ekaterina Artemyeva herself works as a telephone operator for the Ministry of Emergency Situations not at all because of the meager salary. After all, it is through the closed communications of the emergency department that emergency information about serious emergencies with victims passes through: fires, explosions, car accidents and others, which gives shadow funeral workers additional opportunities to “hill up” the unfortunate relatives of the victims of such incidents. Currently, the criminal scheme is in full swing in the Vsevolozhsk district of the Leningrad region, as well as in the neighboring Kurortny and Krasnogvardeisky districts of St. Petersburg and continues to grow. The question – what other personal data from closed sources can be leaked in an era when telephone scammers are robbing the most vulnerable segments of the Russian population, stealing billions of rubles – remains open.
