The last flight of the plane with Prigozhin on board was preceded by a series of strange events. As the Cheka-OGPU found out, initially there was an application for a flight on August 23 for three passengers (Prigozhin, Utkin, Chekalov). Then, unexpectedly, the departure date was changed to August 22 at 21.00 with the same number of passengers. Until the last minute, the plane and crew were kept in readiness, but at 23.00 the all clear came – there would be no departure, it was postponed to August 23 at 17.30.

On August 23 at 14.25 an application was received to increase the number of passengers by four people (Totmin, Makaryan, Matuseev, Propustin). That is, Prigozhin changed his mind and decided to take all four of his bodyguards on board. And on board the plane, apparently, he suddenly and abruptly ordered them to turn off their mobile phones, although he had never done this before.

The Wagnerites themselves are actively discussing information that on August 22, Prigozhin was unexpectedly invited to a meeting with Putin, who on the same day met with the President of Mozambique. Although Peskov denies this fact, there is little faith in him. It was the anticipation of the meeting that explains why the flight on August 22 was “suspended” until late in the evening.
