The joint press service of the St. Petersburg courts confirmed the information of the Cheka-OGPU that the Krasnogvardeysky District Court of St. Petersburg issued a ruling on the selection of a preventive measure in the form of house arrest against the eminence grise of the North-Western Customs Administration, Fedor Gerasimov, accused of committing a crime, provided for in paragraph a part 3 of article 291.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
From 12/01/2021 to 01/14/2022, the senior detective for particularly important cases of the operational department of the Anti-Corruption Service of the North-Western Federal Customs Service of the Federal Customs Service of Russia, Gerasimov, introduced two other former employees to each other and entered into a conspiracy with them to commit mediation in bribery.
As a result of the conspiracy, two persons agreed on an accelerated procedure for issuing orders for loading ship supplies in the customs control zone of the Lesnoy Port customs post, for bunkering with fuel ships departing from the territory of the Russian Federation. The bribe amount was 52,000 rubles.
Gerasimov did not object to house arrest, but he also asked for a ban on certain actions.
