In January of this year, the Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Republic of Adygea investigated a criminal case against the deputy head of the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate of the republican Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ramzin Gusaruk, who, while supervising the territorial departments of the MREO of the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate of the Republic, actually “levied tribute” on a monthly basis on 18 employees of these departments. Under the threat of this manager actually creating problems in his service, every month from 2018 to 2021, employees transferred Gusaruk various amounts of money from personal salaries to bank cards of third parties who were in the direct use of Gusaruk. In total, during this period, Gusaruk illegally enriched himself by almost 3 million rubles.

The criminal case, initiated on the basis of the painstaking operational investigative work of the Federal Security Service of Russia in the Republic of Adygea, was sent by the republican prosecutor’s office to the Maikop City Court for consideration after approval.

However, miracles began to happen in court. Husaruk, using his corrupt connections in the police and judicial system, through “respected” relatives, takes all measures to avoid criminal liability. According to our information, in court a number of witnesses – traffic police officers – are beginning to change their testimony in favor of the former high-ranking police officer, which the court accepts at face value.

Moreover, with the help of his accomplices, including police officers, Gusaruk actually attacks all law enforcement agencies with anonymous messages containing slanderous information addressed to employees of the prosecutor’s office and the FSB in order to “whiten” his image and create preconditions for evading strict criminal liability, the maximum the punishment for which in total can be 18 years in prison.
