The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation pays special attention to the disclosure of crimes of past years, including active investigative actions continues as part of the investigation of the criminal case on the murder of singer Igor Talkov.
On November 13, 2018, the investigating authorities of the GSU of the IC of Russia in St. Petersburg resumed an investigation into a criminal case initiated on the grounds of a crime under P.P. “B, d” Art. 102 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR, on the fact of the murder on October 6, 1991 at the Yubileiny Sports Palace Igor Talkov. Currently, the investigation of this criminal case is ongoing, all persons who were at the scene and to be interrogated as witnesses have been established, measures are being held aimed at establishing their location, interrogations (including additional) witnesses are being held. In absentia, Valery Shlyafman was charged with the murder of Igor Talkov by negligence, that is, on the grounds of a crime under Art. 106 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR, it was put on the federal and international wanted list.
