According to the investigation, on June 30, 2021 Berezhnoy, he rape and murder of the young Nastya Muravyeva. During the interrogation, he gave a confession according to which in the morning of the indicated day, being in alcohol and drug intoxication, he met the girl on the landing, lured into the apartment, tied it with tape and raped, and then strangled.
He kept the girl’s body in the refrigerator for several days. From the place of work where he is a collector of furniture, he took a box from household appliances, in which he carefully packed the body of the murdered and put it in plastic bags for tightness, wrapping it with tape. In order to conceal the crime on August 17, he attributed and hid the box with the body of the victim in an inaccessible place on the lake of the Armor, where it was subsequently discovered during the search events organized by the investigation.
The investigation is collected characterizing the material about the suspect. It was established that for more than three years in 2008-2011, Berezhnaya served in the internal affairs bodies as an assistant to the district authorized police in the district police department in the city of Nyagan of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, moved to Tyumen in 2015. From mid -June to mid -August 2021 he lived in a rented apartment near the residence of the victim.
The suspect confirmed his confession when they are checked on the spot, including indicated the place of concealment of the girl’s body.
In the criminal case, a number of examinations were appointed in order to establish a complete picture of what happened. The set of investigative actions continues.
