The intrigue surrounding the raider takeover of JSC Shchelkovo Agrokhim continues to swirl.

It would seem that evil intent is evident – Eduard Fedosov, accused of attacking one of the leading agrochemical holdings in Russia, is in a pre-trial detention center. His accomplices are the former commercial director and chief accountant of the enterprise Elmira Iraidova and Lyudmila Prikhodko, who are charged with fraud on an especially large scale – under house arrest. Moreover, Fedosov outlined the entire capture plan in detail to the investigators, which was in fact confirmed by the data from the gadgets seized during searches of the trio. But the behind-the-scenes operators of the raider attack are not calming down. The media have already reported about one of them, “chess player” Vladimir Palikhata, “a virtuoso of aggressive M&A transactions.” Fedosov, while still at large, managed to take him on as a solution partner, promising a share in Shchelkovo Agrokhim in exchange for solving problems in the courts. Now another character comes out from behind the scenes – a famous businessman with equally famous and impressive family connections, Nathan Wiener.

Apparently, Palikhata involved him in the case in order to put pressure on the court: in card index The Arbitration Court of the Moscow Region issued a cassation appeal signed by Wiener, in which he expresses his disagreement with the previously adopted court decision and asks the appellate authority to cancel it. We are talking about a deal between Iraidova and Prikhodko to merge, respectively, 11% and 20% of the shares of Shchelkovo Agrokhim, which the court declared illegal. Wiener’s participation in this story only means that the initially expressed assumptions about his involvement in the raider takeover of Shchelkovo Agrokhim turned out to be the absolute truth. Two behind-the-scenes operators of the attack on a Moscow region enterprise – Vladimir Palikhata and Nathan Viner – will try to squeeze out the situation as much as possible in cassation: the cancellation of the appeal court verdict will help them continue implementing the plan to seize the holding.
