The international consulting company PricewaterhouseCoopers, whose headquarters are located in London, is currently actively acting as an intermediary in transactions for the sale of foreign companies leaving Russia. One such company is Valio, a Finnish dairy producer.

It is interesting that it is not Valio’s Russian assets that are being offered for sale, but Valio’s Finnish “subsidiary” – Rushold M Oy, which owns 2 subsidiaries in Russia. The main asset of the subsidiary Rushold M Oy is its own plant in Ershovo (Odintsovo urban district), the construction of which cost 70 million euros in the period from 2007-2020.

According to the source of the Cheka-OGPU, PwC has currently chosen as the buyer a European company (possibly newly created), the beneficiary of which is a Russian entrepreneur.

The transaction is being implemented under Finnish law and is regulated only by European legislation, bypassing the procedure in force in Russia with the participation of the relevant government bodies. All settlements for the transaction are carried out in Finland in foreign currency.
What does it mean? If the deal goes through, the parent company Valio and PwC will not only receive funds, but will also make the Russian buyer of their “daughter” dependent on the West. Since, if there are objectionable actions on the part of a Russian businessman, his foreign assets may be frozen and taken back. And this deal is most likely not the only one. This is the cunning and resourceful combination practiced by Western gentlemen.

Also, in the course of collecting information, PwC does not hesitate to leak data to the British government and British intelligence services about Russian entrepreneurs wishing to buy one or another foreign asset, with a view to possibly imposing sanctions on them.

These are the kinds of sabotages that an international company with a once “impeccable” reputation allows itself. We hope that the Russian intelligence services and relevant government agencies have already paid attention to PwC’s actions and will soon stop them.
