The Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation approved the indictment in the criminal case against the former adviser to the General Director of Gazprom Interregiongaz LLC Raul Arashukov, his son Rauf Arashukov and other members of the criminal community in committing a number of crimes. In total, 20 people were prosecuted.
Depending on the role and degree of participation, he was charged with committing crimes under Part 3 of Art. 210 of the Criminal Code (organization of a criminal community or participation in it), paragraphs. “A, w, s” part 2 of Art. 105 of the Criminal Code (murder), part 4 of Art. 160 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (assignment or embezzlement), paragraph “c” of part 3 of article 286 of the Criminal Code (abuse of authority), part 4 of Art. 309 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (bribing or coercion to the testimony or evasion of testimony or to incorrect translation), part 2 of article 306 of the Criminal Code (knowingly false denunciation).
In particular, Raul Arashukov and 8 heads of regional organizations of the gas industry are accused of embezzlement of natural gas in the amount of 3.8 billion rubles in the territory of the Stavropol Territory and the Karachay-Cherkess Republic, embezzlement of 747 million rubles under the guise of payment under contracts and payments of salaries to relatives.
Arashukovs are also accused of organizing the murders of the Adyghe Hase youth movement, Aslan Zhukov and the adviser to the President of the Karachay-Cherkess Republic, Frala Shebzukhov, who prevented the activities of the criminal community.
Former employees of the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Karachay-Cherkess Republic of Kazbek Bulatov and Andrei Filippov, as well as the former employee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Republic of Timur Betuganov, who contributed to evidence of the criminal activity of the Arashukovs, charged with exceeding official powers and participation in the criminal community.
After the approval of the indictment, the criminal case was sent to the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation to resolve the issue of changing the territorial jurisdiction of the criminal case.
