The Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation approved the indictment in the criminal case against Alexander Penzakov, accused of committing crimes under Part 1 of Art. 293 of the Criminal Code (negligence), part 2 of Art. 292 of the Criminal Code (service forgery).
According to the investigation, in April 2020, the forensic expert of the Yalta branch of the GBUZ of the Republic of Crimea “Crimean Republican Bureau of Forensic Expertise” Penzakov improperly fulfilled his duties in the production of the body of the deputy head of the Department of Culture of Moscow, discovered in a rented apartment in G. Yalta.
During its holding, the expert did not reveal the damage to the murder on the body, and unreasonably informed law enforcement officers about death as a result of suicide.
After that, Penzakov made an expert’s conclusion, in which he introduced knowingly false information about the implementation of the necessary studies.
When conducting an additional examination, Pencakov made a conclusion, reflecting in it the same obviously false information.
The negligence made by the expert during the expertise and the two official forgery committed by him in the manufacture of conclusions entailed the untimely initiation of a criminal case on the fact of the murder, which until now remains unsolved.
After the approval of the indictment, the criminal case will be sent to the Yalta City Court of the Republic of Crimea for consideration on the merits.
