Since May 10, several “violators” were caught red-handed in the metro and train stations (about 10 people, about 12 quadcopters were confiscated). True, they all turned out to be SVO volunteers, surveyors and students. Here are some of the service messages.
“At the Lukhmanovskaya metro station, an employee of the SB MM used an X-ray machine “Inspector” to identify a quadcopter in the backpack of a native of Belarus. He works as a surveyor engineer.”
“Report from the traffic police inspector. A Toyota Avalon was stopped. During the search, a quadcopter was discovered. Owner born in 2001 explained that he assembled it from Chinese components for his graduation project. The SOG was called to the scene, the quadcopter was seized and sent for investigation.”
“At the Kotelniki metro station, a quadcopter was identified by an MM SB employee through the Inspector apparatus. The owner, the head of military unit 25953, explained that he purchased the device to help the participants of the Northern Military District.”
“At the Vladykino metro station, when checking a passenger’s hand luggage using an X-ray machine, an SB officer identified a quadcopter. The woman explained that she bought it as a gift for her 8-year-old son (there is a receipt from Detsky Mir). It has been reported to the prosecutor’s office, OSTM, the inspection is being carried out by an inspector of the 8th department.”
As for residents’ requests, unlike the holiday, over the past 24 hours there were 10 times fewer calls to emergency services. As before, municipal employees and city madmen inform 02 about “flashes”, “hanging oblong cylinders” and “Chinese lanterns”. There have also been several denunciations against sellers of quadcopters. Something new: eyewitnesses began to report group flights of UAVs. The record holders for the number of messages were Pushchino and Mytishchi. There we saw 4-5 drones at a time, circling over the railway tracks and heading towards neighboring regions (Kaluga, Tula, Tverskaya).
