The investigative bodies of the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Moscow Region have opened a criminal case against the head of the Sergiev Posad urban district, suspected of taking a bribe, as well as against the head of the local MFC, suspected of giving a bribe and fraud (Part 6 of Article 290 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, Part 5 Art. 291 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation and Part 4 of Art. 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
A criminal case was initiated based on materials from operational services.
According to the investigation, from January 2019 to July 2024, the head of the city district systematically received bribes from the head of the MBU “MFC of Sergiev Posad city district.” for general patronage and connivance in the service. In total, he received at least 15 million rubles.
In addition, it was established that from January 2019 to July 2024, the head of the MBU “MFC of Sergiev Posad city” fictitiously employed at least five nominal employees for various positions in the MFC, who did not actually work, and the head of the MFC received wages for them.
For the specified period, fictitious employees received wages in the amount of more than 15 million rubles.
To date, a number of investigative actions have been carried out with the suspects. Today, the investigation is petitioning the Tverskoy Court of Moscow to impose a preventive measure in the form of arrest against the head of the city district.
A preventive measure in the form of detention has already been chosen against the head of the MFC.
