The head of pre-trial detention center-1 in Tver, Dmitry Lebedev, was arrested. He is accused of coercion to testify. Previously, Alexander Shestun accused Lebedev of beating him.
During the investigation of a criminal case under Part 2 of Art. 309 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Force to give evidence”) and Part 2 of Art. 294 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Obstruction of justice and preliminary investigation”), Dmitry Lebedev was charged.
The court in Tver chose a preventive measure against the accused in the form of detention.

Alexander Shestun reported that he was beaten by the head of pre-trial detention center-1 Tver, Dmitry Lebedev.
“Head of Pre-trial Detention Center-1 Lebedev D.G. was dressed in a pea coat and struck me 3 times in the face, after the third blow I lost consciousness for a short time,” said Alexandra Shestuna.
Shestun reported that the reason for the attack on him was explained by the fact that the video recorder in the punishment cell had allegedly broken down.
“Also from Lebedev D.G. there were threats to transfer A.V. Shestun. into a lower caste of prisoners,” said the lawyer’s survey carried out by Alexander Shestun’s representative at the ECHR.
