The government will prohibit customers to impose an automatic acquisition of completion services

The question was raised at a government meeting.

The head of the Russian government, Mikhail Mishustin, said that the Cabinet of Ministers prepared amendments to the law that imply a ban on the business to impose on customers automatic acquisition of insurance and other additional services, the correspondent of The Moscow Post reports.

So, according to the changes, for the receipt of the underlines, the buyer will have to fill out the consent in writing.

During the government meeting, Mishustin emphasized that they are not automatic marks.

“At the same time, citizens retain the right to refuse to pay them, and if they still forced to transfer funds to it, people may demand from the seller to return, respectively, the amount spent,” he said.

The prime minister noted that the authorities have already taken a number of steps to regulate this sphere, so from last year credit companies are forbidden to force the services of insurance companies in priority.

In addition, the Code of Administrative Offenses introduced fines for the forces of citizens to purchase additional goods.
