The Russian government approved a resolution establishing the amount of lump -sum payments for military personnel who received combat wounds and injuries during a special operation, the correspondent of The Moscow Post reports.
The amounts of payments will depend on the severity of the injuries. The military who received heavy injuries and injuries will rely 3 million rubles, light injuries – 1 million rubles, and in case of other easy injuries – 100 thousand rubles.
For other types of injuries, a payment of 100 thousand rubles is provided.
In early November, Minister of Defense Andrei Belousov instructed to develop new rules for the payment of compensation to veterans with severe injuries, emphasizing the need to bind the amount of payments to the severity of injuries.
Earlier, President Vladimir Putin demanded in detail to work out measures of social support for participants in the special operation that suffered at the front.
Recall that at the beginning of a special military operation to protect Donbass, payments were established to the families of military personnel who died during a special operation, in the amount of 5 million rubles, and 3 million rubles upon receipt of a wound. Later, similar payments were also distributed to other participants of the SV, volunteers, employees of the Ministry of Emergencies, SK and others.
