The fraudster involved the Nikulinsky Court of Moscow in his scam for 7.8 billion rubles

According to our information, the situation developed as follows. In June 2021, the Nikulinsky District Court of Moscow, having considered civil case No. 2-466/21 on the claim of Roman Baboyan against Andranik Navoyan, partially satisfied the claim for 7.8 billion rubles and decided to recover 175 million rubles from the defendant. During the consideration of the appeal, the Moscow City Court ordered a forensic examination. Specialists from the Russian Federal Center for Economic Examination under the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation established that the contract brought to court by the plaintiff, dated September 29, 2017, was made by installation, and, simply put, is counterfeit. A criminal case was opened for attempted fraud on an especially large scale (part 3 of article 30, part 4 of article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). According to investigators, Baboyan filed a statement of claim with the Nikulinsky Court of Moscow “for the purpose of concealing the crime being committed under the guise of carrying out civil law relations, as well as for the purpose of obtaining a title document.” It is noteworthy that the unfortunate plaintiff himself, as soon as he learned about the criminal case, immediately flew from Ufa to Yerevan on a private plane. That did not stop him from filing a cassation appeal in March 2022. In August, Baboyan was charged in absentia and put on the interstate wanted list.
Being wanted, Baboyan does not lose hope of rectifying the situation. So, he recommended to his lawyer D.A. Kalinkin to urgently leave the territory of Russia, which the latter did, leaving by train for Belarus. Now he too will be put on the wanted list. In addition to making recommendations to his lawyers, Baboyan is actively and successfully looking for people willing to help him avoid criminal punishment. The main hopes are placed on the judges of the capital’s cassation court (2nd KSOJ), where a review of court decisions on the ill-fated claim for 7.8 billion rubles is currently underway. The next meeting is scheduled for September 1, and Baboyan is obviously confident that his cassation appeal will be satisfied. At least, according to our information, back in July, in the presence of witnesses, Baboyan stated that the judges of the 2nd CCJU had “already been given” a significant amount of money in the form of a bribe, and the Moscow City Court’s ruling “will be cancelled.” In this connection, the obviously illegal judicial act issued on September 1 will allegedly help Baboyan hush up the criminal case. During the same conversation, Baboyan also referred to the help of his high-ranking relative, the head of Bashkiria Radiy Khabirov, in such a delicate issue. By the way, Baboyan had previously, repeatedly hiding behind family connections, asked businessmen for large sums of money, allegedly intended to be transferred to Khabirov as a bribe. And in return, he guaranteed to win tenders and receive the patronage of the governor.
It should be noted that Baboyan’s interests are represented by capital lawyer Gennady Udunyan, known for personally transferring money to the head of the Main Directorate of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for Moscow, Igor Yakovlev, while on camera. The fact of giving a bribe was not proven, and therefore the head of the capital’s police investigation managed to avoid criminal prosecution, but he still lost his position. Let us add that Baboyan had previously repeatedly come to the attention of the FSB. But this is his first time acting as an accused. According to our source, Baboyan and Kalinkin will not be able to hide from the investigation for long. And the criminal episodes in Baboyan’s case can only increase; the investigation is already aware of his scams with cryptocurrency, real estate and numerous bribes.
