The former minister of economic development of the Kaluga region and the ex-deputy chairman of the government of the Ryazan region, and now the manager of one of the oil and gas structures of the state, Ilya Veselov, fell under the cross-development of several law enforcement agencies at once. The unprepossessing official, who was always assigned the role of a cache collector for his employers, greatly let down the “respected people”, promising on their behalf all sorts of “fixes” to other “respected people” and, of course, tried to scam everyone.

As a result, all parties offended by Veselov connected administrative resources and handed over carefully collected “daddies” to the security forces. Now the law enforcement officers, and even with excitement, staged a competition to see who would be the first to snap the handcuffs on his hands.

After trying to call Veselov for questioning and realizing his future prospects, the official fell into hysterics, running around to the lawyers, who, seeing the pitying look, throw up their hands, shake their heads in bewilderment and voice an unaffordable price list. Veselov is afraid to report it directly to the investigators; he understands that this will only add to the incident for himself.
