The first deputy chairman of the Central Bank Olga Skorobogatova will leave the Bank of Russia on December 2, she decided to continue his career outside the Central Bank, the correspondent of The Moscow Post reports with reference on the official website of the regulator.

The Central Bank also announced the appointment of the director of the Department of Information Technology, Zulfiya Kakhrumanova, deputy chairman of Elvira Nabiullina since December 2.

In this position, she will oversee the work of the departments of information and financial technologies, as well as the operating department.

In addition, from the second of December, the Department of the National Payment System, which is managed by Skorobogatova, will go under the supervision of the First Deputy Chairman of the Bank of Russia Dmitry Tulina.

The chairman of the Bank of Russia Elvira Nabiullina noted that Skorobogatova is one of the main architects of many key innovative projects in the financial market in Russia.

To date, Olga Skorobogatova is 55 years old, she came to the Central Bank in 2014 and began her career in the regulator with the post of deputy chairman.

In 2017, he was appointed the first deputy chairman. Since 2021, Skorobogatova has also become part of the Board of Directors of the Bank of Russia, follows from the information on the regulator website.
