The first department for investigating particularly important cases of the Investigative Committee for the Krasnodar Territory opened a criminal case against a 56-year-old resident of the village of Tsibanobalka, Anapa region, who is suspected of encroaching on the life of an employee of the regional investigative department (Article 295 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). In addition, the investigative department also opened a criminal case against the defendant for the use of violence against two employees of the department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Anapa region (part 2 of article 318, part 2 of article 318 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).

According to the investigation, the man lives in one of the households on Sadovaya Street in the village of Tsibanobalka, where he did not pay utility bills for a long time. Today, utility workers came to him to disconnect the household from communications, and therefore police officers were called to the scene. The attacker stabbed the police commissioner of the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the city of Anapa and a trainee as a local police commissioner. The injured police officers were hospitalized and their lives are not currently in danger. The man then disappeared into his home, where he barricaded himself.

After this, upon arrival at the scene of the investigation department employees, the attacker fired shots from an unidentified weapon in the direction of an employee of the investigation department for the city of Anapa, Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation on the edge. Currently, the suspect is blocked in the house by law enforcement officers and continues to resist.
