The first department for the investigation of especially important cases of the Western Interregional Investigation Department of Transport of the Investigative Committee of Russia on suspicion of committing a crime under Part 6 of Art. 290 of the Criminal Code (receiving a bribe), detained by the acting Head of the Corruption Service of the North-West Customs Administration of the FCS of Russia Maxim Rosatalo.
The investigation established that in July of this year, the suspect entered into a criminal conspiracy with other officials of the North -West Customs Administration of the Federal Customs Service of Russia, aimed at the systematic receipt of bribes from the representative of the commercial organization for rejection of additional measures to verify the legal entity during the customs clearance procedure.

Realizing the plan, the defendant of the criminal case shot an intermediary who put forward the demand for the transfer of $ 700 for unhindered customs clearance of one car.

Having inclined the entrepreneur to transfer the bribe, the intermediary received more than 1 million rubles from him for rejection of additional measures in terms of customs control during the registration of 20 cars, which was subsequently transferred by the acting head of the Corruption of the North-West Customs Administration as part of operational-search measures, conducted by employees of the FSB of Russia and the UEBIPK of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Central Federal District.

The suspect was detained, in the near future he will be charged and a preventive measure is chosen.
