All the company’s transactions were related to very specific government issues and were under control, which should have alerted law enforcement officers.
However, they did things differently. Whether it was through stupidity or carelessness, it’s not clear. Most likely due to Sugak’s superficial attitude towards work. As a result, tax officials figured out signs that the companies were fictitious and began trying to shake them up.
