The investigative department of the city of Domodedovo by the Main Directorate of the IC of Russia in the Moscow Region, based on the results of the audit, opened a criminal case on the provision of services that did not meet the safety requirements, as a result of which the man died, and his spouse and two children were hospitalized (paragraph “c” of h. . The investigation of this criminal case is carried out by the investigative and forensic group from among the most experienced employees of the Main Investigative Directorate of the IC of Russia in the Moscow Region.
According to the investigation, on November 16, 2021, in a private house located in one of the cottage villages of the Domodedovo city district, a man’s body was discovered without signs of life, as well as in an unconscious state of his wife and two children of 5 years old. It was established that on the eve of the family returned from a vacation from the Arab Republic of Egypt, where signs of malaise were manifested in one of the children in the form of vomiting, later they also appeared among other family members.
However, according to the preliminary results of the expert, the death of a man occurred as a result of carbon monoxide poisoning. Investigators and forensics with the participation of a specialist in the field of gas and chimney equipment carried out an additional inspection of the scene of the incident, during which a boiler was removed and a construction and technical examination was assigned, and a chimney will be investigated. For previously seized foods and drinks, chemical studies are conducted. A forensic medical examination is also carried out to establish the reasons for the poisoning of the remaining members of the family.
