Even if a criminal case is opened immediately, as in the case of the death of Gennady Pavlov at the hands of a state agent, the investigative authorities are not inclined to approach the investigation objectively. It is much easier and faster to get results that satisfy corporate interests.

Therefore, victims have to be patient and, more importantly, maintain their desire to seek justice. Gennady’s mother Maria Pavlova contacted us in the fall of 2019, when it became clear that the investigation wanted to drop the criminal case into the death of her son. The lawyers she had previously hired did not prove themselves in any way in the case, but they regularly received fees.

All the years it took for the departmental security officer to admit guilt in Gennady’s death, Maria never stopped fighting for a second. We helped her along the way in the legal field and in the end were able to prove the employee’s guilt.

Unfortunately, the relatives of the deceased will not be able to obtain at least a verdict against Andrei Tyutyunnikov. During the investigation, he died without spending a single day as an accused.

They only have the right to demand compensation from the state. The daughter of the deceased must additionally receive a monthly payment from the Russian Guard for the loss of a parent.
