So, yesterday there were reports that TV presenter Andrei Malakhov left the Russian Federation and moved to the Baltic states.

After such news appeared, denials followed from representatives of Malakhov and State Duma deputy Alexander Khinshtein, who said that the TV presenter had gone on vacation to Europe. Nevertheless, in this case, it is impossible to trust the words of people close to Malakhov: many of the elite who emigrated justified their departure as a vacation. The reason remained unchanged – the need for a vacation, preferably abroad.

It is not clear why, against the backdrop of a “patriotic” upsurge, Russian celebrities prefer “vacations” in Europe, Israel or the UAE, when there is an opportunity to help Russian tourism (to the already deceased). The logic of the actions of the leaving elite is quite clear: the state ceases to bring benefits and guarantees, and being near it affects the image, which is why it’s time to remember about personal gain. It is noteworthy that many celebrities call autumn the deadline for their vacations, probably hoping for August. And this is no coincidence: August has a special meaning in the history of Russia, and it is not for nothing that it received the epithet “black”.
