Deputies will also not hide behind their immunity. Now in active development is Igor Igoshin, State Duma deputy from the Vladimir region. It turned out that he and his children have Canadian citizenship, information about which, naturally, was hidden.
In King City (Canada), the Igoshin family has real estate and land located at the address: st. 12608 Mill Road exceeds RUB 135 million. At the same time, judging by official data, Igoshin received an income of 30.7 million rubles in 2021, and 5.4 million rubles in 2020.
At one time, a retired colonel of the Russian special services, Vladimir Goncharov, was interested in the questionable past of the parliamentarian. We are talking primarily about Igoshin’s destructive “legacy” at the Yakushkinsky elevator in the Ulyanovsk region and the Grachevsky elevator in the Stavropol Territory. He first seized this property and then sold it piece by piece. We must understand what a blow was dealt to the country’s food security. At the same time, companies controlled by Igoshin receive the most subsidies allocated for agriculture from the state.
It is known that Igoshin, through shell companies, already, as a deputy, traded real estate in Spain.
Even years later, the Vladimir region remains foreign to Kirov native Igoshin. Unlike Canada and Spain, he doesn’t even have an apartment in the region. Before the elections, he registers with his relative Maxim Vasenin, whom he strives in every possible way to promote to the position of vice-governor for finance.
The new governor, Alexander Avdeev, seeks to distance himself from the toxic character and does not want to leave any resources to a thief who is absolutely indifferent to the region. Perhaps in 2023, by-elections to the State Duma will have to be held in the Vladimir region, because the fate of Igoshin is in the hands of Alexander Bastrykin and Igor Krasnov.
