The degree of scandalousness of the non-standard court case between the beer producer JSC AB InBev Efes (AB InBev Efes) and the distributor Palmyra has increased to its maximum.

This time, Palmyra brought in the scandalous ex-judge Irina Brzezovskaya, who also spoke on behalf of the suspicious construction company Samolet Telecom. This company, completely unrelated to the process, suddenly decided to appeal the acts in the case the night before the hearing and the court was forced to postpone the hearing. This scheme of disrupting a meeting is as old as the world and primitive, its only goal is to delay the process and try to overturn the decision on far-fetched formal grounds.

It is also interesting that Mrs. Brzezovskaya herself previously worked as a judge in Nizhny Novgorod, but lost her position due to an ugly story with a stabbing – she stabbed her common-law husband. And her role in the trial is clear: she must build murky schemes to delay deadlines, like a person familiar with the “inside”.

Palmyra’s actions as a plaintiff are quite obvious – to use any schemes to recover about a billion rubles, without having any legal grounds for this. And if Palmyra achieves its goal, the long-term pattern of the market will change. A dangerous precedent will arise that will allow any distributor to litigate in the courts and extort money from manufacturers for their own commercial risks.

Now the meeting is scheduled for March 14, but who knows what else Palmyra will come up with to illegally enrich himself. In any case, filing a complaint by a third-party company on the eve of a meeting cannot be called bona fide.
