When Mineev was shot, it turned out that he owned office and business centers worth about $1 billion. The investigation (and Antonov was in charge of the case) was not particularly interested in the question of who ordered Mineev (the murder has not yet been solved), all the work of the investigation went around these same objects for a billion. One of the main characters in planning the murder of Mineev was his manager Boris Khamitov, who knew how and to what structures the real estate was registered. As a result, Khamitov found himself in custody in connection with this case; everything was going badly for him. Until Kapichnikov’s lawyer showed up. Kapichnikov is known precisely as Khmarin’s confidant. And he works on topics where Khmarin is interested. And the Administration of the Russian Federation sent a letter from Kapichnikov with a harsh attack on the current deputy director of the FSB Sergei Korolev, the head of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for Moscow Oleg Baranov, Deputy Prosecutor General Viktor Grin and others. And surprisingly, the message did not go unnoticed.
After Kapichnikov’s appeal to the RF AP and the corresponding support from Khmarin and Directorate K, Boris Khamitov entered into a pre-trial agreement, avoided murder charges, and was released. And… was taken under state protection as a particularly valuable witness. This same person, who had state protection, in 2019 organized a raid by special forces of the FSB of the Russian Federation on a branch of the Metallurg Bank, where cashers brought a large sum for exchange. All participants in the raid were put behind bars, with the exception of… Khamitov. He escaped and has not yet been caught.
Another interesting point. Together with Khamtov, Dmitry Kurylenko was arrested for the murder of Mineev. He testified that Maxim Lalakin, the son of the leader of the Podolsk organized crime group Sergei Lalakin (Luchok), was involved in the topic of eliminating Mineev. Before the execution of Mineev was revealed, it was possible to extend a hand. And Khmarin appears, everything turns back. The accused find themselves free, and they completely forget about the evidence against the Lalakin family. Moreover, in the end, all buildings worth over $1 billion came under the control of Luchko.
And unnecessary and weak witnesses to the ways in which 1 billion worth of assets went to Luchka died under strange circumstances.
