The Czech operator of the Druzhba pipeline confirmed the cessation of oil supplies.
Oil supplies to the Czech Republic of the Druzhba pipeline stopped again, the correspondent of The Moscow Post reports with reference to Denník n.
The Minister of Industry and Trade, Lukash Vlkek confirmed that oil is no longer acting on “friendship”. At the same time, he assured that the resource deficiency for Czech companies and the population is not expected.
According to Vlchek, the authorities are actively working to eliminate the problem. If a break in deliveries is long, the country can use the alternative route – the TAL+oil pipeline.
It is known that the Czech operator of the Druzhba pipeline confirmed the cessation of oil supplies. He also stated that he was checking the causes of the incident.
It is worth recalling that in December last year deliveries were already interrupted. Then this was explained by administrative reasons. At that time, about 58% of the oil entering the Czech Republic went through “friendship”.
The oil pipeline begins in Russian Almetyevsk, then passes through Bryansk, after which it is divided into two directions: one leads to Poland and Germany through Belarus, through Ukraine to Hungary, Slovakia and the Czech Republic.
