In the court, it was established that in the evening of November 17, 2017, Ismailov, Khamidov and at least 10 armed persons who accompanied them were at a festive event in the Oeka restaurant of the Moscow International Business Center “Moscow City”. In the absence of a significant occasion, they came into conflict with employees responsible for the safety of guests. Ignoring the request to free the passage of vehicles, Ismailov and the faces accompanying him in a rough obscene form insulted the security officers and showed their readiness to apply physical strength to them.

During the continuing bickering in the lobby of the Eye Tower building, Ismailov filed a command to get weapons, after which the faces that accompanied it produced from unregistered firearms in the present employees of the Federal State Unitary Enterprise “Prosit” of the Russian Guard and a private security enterprise at least 10 shots. As a result, three people caused threatening gunshot wounds. Then Ismailov abducted the PM brand belonging to one of the victims, handed it over to Hamidov, after which they began to pursue these security workers.
