A similar verdict – 2 years 6 months – was handed down to Nikolai Kolmakov, who refused to fight “under the pretext of caring for his mother, a disabled person of the second group.”

Given such data, the inability of the defendant to overcome the subjective evaluative attitude towards the supposed upcoming events that threaten the safety of his life and health in the event of participation in hostilities, as well as the consequences that, if they occur, could become known to the mother and negatively affect the conditions of her life and health, the court regards as a manifestation of cowardice,” follows from the guilty verdict.
