Earlier, the European Union decided to send from frozen assets of the Russian Federation for military assistance to Kyiv.
The chairman of the Federation Council Committee on International to do Grigory Karasin said that the decision of the EU Council is another example of economic and financial banditry, the newspaper writes “News”.
In his opinion, the response from Russia can be both symmetrical and asymmetric.
Karasin emphasized that all possible options will be studied.
Recall that this day the EU Council approved the decision to use income from blocked Russian assets for military assistance to Ukraine.
The document states that 90 percent of the income that will be transferred to the EU budget twice a year will be sent to the European Fund of the World to finance military assistance to Ukraine, and the remaining 10% will be allocated for programs for the restoration of Ukraine financed from the EU budget.
