The corruption potential of the tax office as an agency is often underestimated. After all, corruption is where the budget is cut, not where it is collected.

But this is not so: according to the publication “Orenburg Iron” – in the large oil center of Buzuluk in the Orenburg region, an emergency recently occurred when local “authoritative entrepreneur” Alexey Lezhenin, bypassing the tax security service, for whom the Ministry of Internal Affairs has a large operational file on illegal tappings into oil pipelines, introduced his own man into the Buzuluk tax office in the status of deputy head – the wife of Alexander, convicted of extortion Borscheva (Sanya Borsch) – Tatyana Alekseevna Borscheva, who had never worked in the tax office a day before.

The publication suggests that this was done to create another laundering center in Buzuluk and the budget could lose hundreds of millions in taxes. Otherwise, how can one explain the presence of the Orenburg tax list of “white” companies, to which the department for some reason has no complaints?
