Investigators are conducting a check against the chief of police for operational work of the Department of Internal Affairs in the Altufevsky district of Moscow, Lieutenant Colonel Garkusha D. Yu. All because his stepson committed suicide and in his suicide note asked to blame his stepfather for his death.
The tragedy in the Garkusha family happened on the night of May 9-10. 17-year-old student Matvey told his mother that he had decided to commit suicide and had already drunk a huge amount of paracetamol. The woman immediately called an ambulance, but the boy could not be saved. 
In his suicide note, Matvey wrote that he blamed his stepfather for the death. Later, the mother of the deceased told investigators that the day before her son had a strong fight with her husband, the boy’s stepfather.
The investigation into the lieutenant colonel is being carried out by investigators from the Babushkinsky MRSO.
