The suspect in the fatal shot is the head of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for Moscow, Oleg Baranov. Vyacheslav’s son Dmitry Salnikov runs the companies “Profile” and “Okhotresurs”, which own large hunting grounds in the Zubtsovsky district of the Tver region. The real owners of the land are Iskander Makhmudov, Andrey Bokarev and Igor Sechin. It was in their domains that the generals hunted.

The wounded Vyacheslav Salnikov is also listed as the director of Elite Service+ LLC. It pretends that it is an agricultural production, but in reality it is also a hunting farm. This is directly stated in the verdict on illegal hunting, which is constantly carried out on the territory of Elite Service.

And this hunt is often carried out by the capital’s security forces. So there they somehow caught Vladimir Chernyshev, an investigator (high-altitude officer) of the first combat squad of the Special Rapid Reaction Detachment of the Special Forces Center for Rapid Reaction Forces of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Moscow.
