The Cheka-OGPU together with human rights activists have calculated that at the moment there may be at least 13 citizens of Ukraine in the main dungeon of the FSB of the Russian Federation (Lefortovo pre-trial detention center).

As the Cheka-OGPU previously said, a resident of Melitopol, Igor Gorlov, is in Lefortovo. He disappeared more than a year ago at the same time as the chairman of the Melitopol Kung Fu Federation, Andrei Golubev. Golubev’s wife wrote in April about the kidnapping of her husband, a former Ukrainian border guard, by unknown security forces.

Also in Lefortovo are Ukrainian citizen Yanina Akulova and Ukrainian Kaev.

A Ukrainian citizen, Crimean Tatar Leniya Umerova, who was arrested on charges of espionage, is being held in a pre-trial detention center.
According to human rights activists, there may also be kidnapped Ukrainians in Lefortovo who were not on the list published by the Cheka-OGPU.
