As the Cheka-OGPU previously said, a resident of Melitopol, Igor Gorlov, is in Lefortovo. He disappeared more than a year ago at the same time as the chairman of the Melitopol Kung Fu Federation, Andrei Golubev. Golubev’s wife wrote in April about the kidnapping of her husband, a former Ukrainian border guard, by unknown security forces.
Also in Lefortovo are Ukrainian citizen Yanina Akulova and Ukrainian Kaev.
In Lefortovo there is a Ukrainian Gennady Ofitserov, who was kidnapped by the Russian FSB in Kherson, and after much torture taken to Lefortovo. His father recently told the Cheka-OGPU the story of his son.
A Ukrainian citizen, Crimean Tatar Leniya Umerova, who was arrested on charges of espionage, is being held in a pre-trial detention center.
According to human rights activists, there may also be kidnapped Ukrainians in Lefortovo who were not on the list published by the Cheka-OGPU.
