The Cheka-OGPU talked with residents of the village of Ivino, where the hunting grounds of the family of the largest developer in Moscow, Pavel Tyo, are located, in which the prefect of the Central Administrative District, Vladimir Goverdovsky, shot and killed huntsman Vasily Andreev. Residents spoke about the customs of local hunters. “No one has seen German (Tyo, founder of the Vostok LLC hunting farm, son of Pavel Tyo) here for a long time. But his father often hunts here. “Pavel Vladimirovich, just shortly before the prefect (Vladimir Goverdovsky, prefect of the Central Administrative District, who shot a local huntsman the other day) came to hunt. Maybe they even crossed paths. In general, Muscovites, security forces, officials, deputies, and bandits often come here. Friends of Pavd Vladimirovich,” our interlocutors said. – The hunting ground is maintained specifically for such honored guests. They drink whenever they want, then they hunt. Maybe the prefect was drinking. And I feel sorry for Mikhalych, how did it happen that he was sitting in the car when he was shot? He has a wife, a daughter, a granddaughter, he worked for them, he made friends with this base, although he himself is a huntsman. Yes, and there was no ambulance there, as we were told, the second game warden, Dima, was returning from the base in a car. I took Andreev, who was already unconscious, the panicking prefect and another game warden, Alexander, and they went back first to the base, and then to meet the doctors.”
Previously, a source from the Cheka-OGPU said that Goverdovsky had repeatedly visited Pavel Te’s hunting grounds. This time, when it got dark, the guest was taken to the fodder fields laid out next to the boar trails. The hunters, meanwhile, looked around and headed towards the stationary tower, and the huntsman Andreev left. The explanations of the witnesses indicate that on the way Goverdovsky suddenly saw an animal, and the prefect fired two shots. However, instead of a boar squealing, they heard the sound of metal being hit. Later, forensic scientists found out that both bullets hit the hood of the Trekol: one shell exploded in the body of the car, and the other pierced the trim and mortally wounded Vasily Andreev, who was sitting in the car.
