As follows from the resolution to initiate a criminal case dated September 15, 2023, unemployed Muscovite Gagik Gulakyan entrusted the 27-year-old beauty from Simferopol Valeria Fedyakina with almost 7 billion cash rubles “for investment purposes,” but the girl deceived her high trust and stole the money.
It is interesting that Gulakyan filed a statement of crime to the FSB Directorate for Moscow and the Moscow Region on September 14, 2023; the corresponding inspection material was sent on the same day to the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for Moscow, where a criminal case was initiated at 2:30 am.
Such a rapid initiation of a criminal case, especially an economic crime, is very rare. It can be assumed that the investigator spent the night at work and came across an exhaustively complete inspection material carried out by colleagues from the FSB, so he decided not to put off until tomorrow what could be done in the middle of the night.
But the most interesting thing is that in reality there was no check, and from the FSB Directorate for Moscow and the Moscow Region the Main Investigative Directorate of the RF Investigative Committee for Moscow received only three documents: Gulakyan’s statement, the protocol of Gulakyan’s interview and a report drawn up on the basis of Gulakyan’s explanations.
It turns out that the employees of the FSB and the Main Investigation Department decided to take Gagik Gulakyan at his word and consider it established that the unemployed Muscovite had 6.7 billion rubles in cash, that he gave this money to Valeria Fedyakina and that the latter stole the money.
It can be assumed that this trust cost Comrade Gulakyan a tidy sum, but it cannot be ruled out that Gagik Jan is a holy man, and it was simply impossible not to believe him.
