The Cheka-OGPU obtained documents on the basis of which the Ministry of Defense transfers shells to the Wagner PMC. Documents confirm the lack of ammunition in the troops; ammunition for Wagner has to be literally “scraped off” from the bottom of the barrel. Moreover, each delivery to PMCs occurs solely on the basis of the relevant written instructions from the Chief of the General Staff and the Deputy Minister of Defense for Logistics. The transfer scheme is as follows: according to documents, ammunition was transferred to the balance of the 22nd Special Purpose Brigade of the Main Directorate General Staff (military unit 11659) for subsequent transfer to the 78th Intelligence Center of the Main Directorate General Staff (military unit 35555), and in fact was immediately received by Wagner representatives for further use PMC.

According to information from the Cheka-OGPU, in early February the General Staff came to the conclusion that Prigozhin had selected not only the entire mobilization resource from among the prisoners, but also the ammunition resource and provoked a shell famine in the armed forces. There was also information about the reserves on Wagner’s balance sheet that were stockpiled earlier. As a result, the shipment of outfits was practically stopped.

It is obvious that both the PMC and the Ministry of Defense definitely do not have enough shells, and the “war” for them continues.
