In fact, it was said that PMC Wagner would “withdraw” from the war. And Sergei Surovikin acted as the guarantor of preventing any provocations from Wagner. However, then Shoigu received information that the movement of forces was planned for one purpose – to capture Shoigu and Gerasimov. The source says that Shoigu has built such a picture. Recently, Surovikin was not allowed to see Putin in every possible way, all reports were closed either through Gerasimov or through fake unit commanders from the front. Realizing that earlier attempts to remove Shoigu and Gerasimov through public discredit on the part of Prigozhin were unsuccessful, it was decided to use the opportunity to transfer forces and means of PMCs with the aim of physically capturing Shoigu and Gerasimov and subsequently reporting to Putin about the true state of affairs. Having learned about these intentions of the conspirators, Shoigu managed to report to Putin that a coup was being prepared, the purpose of which was to overthrow Putin himself, and to prevent this, a preventive strike on the conspirators was required. Subsequently, it was also decided to isolate the conspirators from among the generals, without disclosing their involvement in the rebellion, in order to avoid uncontrolled processes among the military personnel at the front, among whom Surovikin enjoys greater authority than Gerasimov and Shoigu. At the moment, the possibility of demonstrating to the public the return of Surovikin to official duties in order to relieve tension in the ranks of the military is being considered.
