The elite of the Yakut police celebrated their professional holiday in a restaurant on the evening of the 10th. Closer to midnight, the head of the Department of Economic Safety and Internal Affairs of the Lensky District Police Captain Roman Sevryugin went berserk and attacked a senior officer. The head of the same department, Lieutenant Colonel Alexey Nadtochiev, did not even have time to do anything – his opponent took him to the ground and finished him off with a series of crushing punches and even delivered one precise blow with his knee to the face. The result is fractures of the facial bones, skull, hemorrhage and third-degree coma.
It is curious that the case materials attributed the impact to concrete (which in reality did not occur). Allegedly after which the underground did not rise again. But the brutal MMA-style finishing is not described at all – only the first blows. Here is how the plot of the case sounds in the materials collected for the Investigative Committee:
