For a reward (from 150 to 600 thousand rubles), Viktorov provided information about operational-search activities, and shared the money received with the head of the Investigative Directorate for the Chuvash Republic, Major General Poltinin A.V. through the mediation of his deputy, Colonel Fedorova M.Yu.
